About Us
PassionateHaving worked in various rescues across the globe, I have witnessed multiple "unsociable" behaviours, seen dogs lives wasted in rescues because they're not "desirable". I am dedicated to preventing these unruly dogs ending up in rescues. Environments with minimal stress enhances learning, meaning the best possible outcome for your dog. I help owners understand the needs of their dogs and working with the whole family ensures a relaxing home life where your pet grows to be (hu)man's best friend.

Educated

With a BSc in Biochemistry and MSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare I understand the underlying mechanics of behaviour whilst taking into account the welfare of each dog I work with. I'm constantly learning, taking part in webinars and reading the latest scientific findings of positive dog training. In addition I have taken part in courses with the IMDT, School of Canine Science and Association of Pet Behaviour Councillors, continuing their positive reward, and fear-free code of ethics. As I joke to my friends, I've an "Einstein brain but doggo heart". My training methods have been approved by the Pet Professional Guild, giving you reassurance that I follow their code of ethics.
Experienced
I've been crazy about animals my whole life, first wanting to be a vet and shadowing multiple vet practices. I realised this was wasn't for me. I wanted to be the one adding fun and enhancing a dogs life, not someone they might fear. Owning a reactive-to-everything collie growing up, she taught me so much and inspired my dog-training journey. Since then I've spent time training in rescues and sanctuaries in Ireland, Australia, a behaviourist in London and now returned to Northern Ireland working as a Clinical Animal Behaviourist for a large UK-wide rescue modifying all kinds of behavioural issues.
